Frequently asked questions

01

What do you look for in an applicant?

We welcome all University of Michigan undergraduates. Investing applicants should bring a demonstrated interest in finance; Quant applicants should show strong mathematical or technical aptitude. Across both teams, we value curiosity, commitment, a willingness to learn, and genuine enthusiasm for solving difficult problems with others.

02

What does the interview process look like?

Both teams run two interview rounds. Investing begins with a behavioral interview and concludes with a superday combining behavioral and technical case work. Quant begins with behavioral questions and a short math or coding component, followed by a final round of math and coding problems.
