Our Story

Diverse Backgrounds, One Common Goal

Michigan Investment Group (MIG) was founded by three engineers who dreamt of creating a club to explore the intersection between finance and technology. With this mission in mind, MIG incorporates two branches: the quant team and the investing team.

We aim to educate our members on core investment principles and the integration of algorithms to develop informed investment strategies. Members will build upon a foundation of quantitative trading strategies to supplement their understanding of financial markets. We apply these principles to manage our organization’s fund and create proprietary investing algorithms. We take pride in the diverse skill sets of our members and our wide ranging network of professional resources.
